2023’s limits on the number of sets of tyres allowed have been loosened. Teams see more power unit allocations too, from three to four per season – allows teams to push their cars to the limit with reduced risk of penalties.

That, coupled with the new cooling scoops for driver comfort, and continued innovations in wet weather technology, means the 2024 season not only prioritizes driver safety but also ensures competitive and dynamic races. . All of this tightened competition ensures every single race is crucial, with more on-track fireworks in store.

2. You’re attending a record-breaking, historic edition of F1

2024 marks the 75th anniversary of the sport, which is pretty remarkable in itself.

3. Catch team debuts in real life

This year’s season also marks a significant shake-up in the paddock, and these team debuts and structural changes are poised to bring a fresh wave of excitement and unpredictability to the 2024 season, making it a must-watch for F1 enthusiasts.

One of the most notable changes is the end of Alfa Romeo's partnership with Sauber. As Sauber gears up to become the Audi works team in 2026, the team has rebranded as Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber, competing under the constructor name Kick Sauber. 

So far, the team has shown steady progress in the 2024 season, with consistent midfield results and successful integration of their new technical and management changes. While they have yet to secure podium finishes, their performance lays a solid foundation for their future as the Audi works team.

Another major rebranding has occurred with AlphaTauri, which has now become RB, reflecting a significant overhaul. 

4. It’s a chance to connect with other F1 enthusiasts
